Tengku Wazir Aziz is building Novarch with a clear focus: creating spaces where connections actually matter.

His work brings together strategy and technology, grounded in real human interaction — shaping how people meet and how conversations move forward. For him, it’s never been about filling a room. It’s about who’s in it and what comes out of it.

In this conversation, Wazir reflects on building something of his own, and how that shapes the way he approaches people and the connections he chooses to invest in.

🌻 How do you set your vibe for the day?
I usually wake up really early in the morning to make sure I have some time to myself. A chapter of a book, a light workout, coffee and a simple breakfast. It’s a small ritual, but it grounds me before stepping into a very extroverted day.

🛋️ How do you relax?
I tend to get lost in RPGs with deep lore and complex characters. I’m drawn to worlds that feel fully built out, where every decision has weight and the storytelling unfolds over time. It’s immersive in a way that lets me switch off, but still engages how I think. Outside of that, working out and journaling help me reset. One grounds me physically, the other clears mental clutter.

💼 How would you describe your work to someone outside of your field?
I help brands connect with the right people so conversations turn into real business.

My role is to identify the gaps or problems, then design the right solution. Sometimes that’s events, sometimes digital, often a mix of both.

For tech, it’s about reaching the right decision-makers. For lifestyle, it’s about creating moments people genuinely connect with.

🚀 Why Novarch, and why now?
There’s a lot of noise in the market, but not enough intention or accountability. Novarch sits at the intersection of strategy, technology, and human connection, bridging offline and online in a way that’s seamless and purposeful.

More importantly, decisions today need to be data-driven and tied to clear ROI, not just awareness. Experiences are no longer just about visibility. They need to translate into measurable impact, whether that’s leads, conversions, or business growth.

The expectations have changed, and the timing reflects that.

🫅 Given your lineage, what motivates you to build something meaningful through your own effort?
I’ve always had a strong sense of individuality. Like anyone, I’ve had moments of feeling a bit lost, but I’ve always wanted to stand on my own two feet.

I’ve also been a bit of a geek at heart, naturally drawn to tech and understanding how things work, which has shaped how I build and solve problems.

At the same time, I’m very aware I come from a place of privilege, and that comes with responsibility. For me, it’s important to create value, whether that’s for society, the community, or supporting the growth of brands.

Ultimately, I want to build something that feels true to me, and that contributes beyond just myself.

✨ What kind of energy do you try to bring into the spaces you build?
Intentional, elevated, and considered. Every interaction should feel like it has a reason to exist. I also prioritise making people feel seen and heard. I’m naturally more of a listener, and I think that creates better spaces.

🔄 What have you had to unlearn about networking or relationships?
That more is better. It’s not. Volume rarely equals value. I’ve shifted from “networking” to building communities, focusing on depth, alignment, and what we can create together, not just what I can gain.

🤝 Do you enjoy networking?
I prefer to call it community building. It doesn’t have to be big to be meaningful. Smaller, well-aligned groups often create more value.

I enjoy it when there’s purpose. I don’t like small talk for the sake of it. I prefer to keep interactions genuine. Being overly flattering or performative doesn’t come naturally to me.

🌐 Best encounter at a networking event?
Meeting Melly, your CEO. It was one of those rare conversations that felt natural from the start, both personally and professionally. No forcing, just alignment.

What began as a connection with Melly has blossomed into both friendship and working together

💖 What's your favourite thing about Mole?
The community. It creates the right environment for meaningful connections. The design is also incredibly well thought through, and I’m genuinely excited to see how it evolves, especially with its AI and software layer.

🎧 What are you listening to now?
It really depends on my mood. Lately, it’s been Beach House, video game soundtracks, and some dark techno. A mix of calm, focus, and edge.

🍧 Favourite snack or dessert?
Dark chocolate. The darker, the better. ;)
